Nominations for this award will cover areas of improving the sanitation of the district through contributions to ODF drives, solid & liquid waste management, waste collection processes, C&D waste management, improve the living conditions of the ragpickers, waste worker livelihood, preventing ocean bound plastic, etc.

Nominations for this award will cover areas of gender rights, prevention of gender discrimination & girl child foeticide, initiatives for the safety of women, promotion of women-led enterprises, inclusion of third gender into mainstream livelihood, etc.

Nominations for this award will cover areas of skill up-gradation, generation of employment opportunities, establishing vocational and technical training framework and rewarding of impactful implementation of skill development programs and employment linkages.

Nominations for this award will cover areas of promotion of friendly business environment for MSMEs or large industries, encouragement of investments, employment through MSMEs, access to finance, market linkages and business development services, development of industrial infrastructure, etc. 

Nominations for this award will cover areas of promoting start-ups by developing a friendly business environment, access to finance, promotion of start up in student communities,creation/driving incubators, initiatives for public procurement of products/services, from start-ups etc.

Nominations for this award will cover areas of driving green transition, measures against or public awareness of climate change, initiatives to reduce consumption of single use plastic, contributions to Sustainable Development Goals, promoting green investments, biodiversity conservation, soil conservation practices, etc.

Nominations for this award will cover areas of water conservation and management, ground water rejuvenation, innovative practices to augment drinking water, reuse of water, rainwater harvesting, development or rejuvenation of local water bodies and awareness creation on conservation of water etc.

 Nominations for this award will cover areas of implementation of Grid-interactive renewable power projects, support in development of energy infrastructure, clean energy, rooftop solar adoption, supporting pilot projects on new energy technologies, IEC on energy efficiency and conservation etc.

A special category is reserved for exceptional public service in an area not covered elsewhere and shall be evaluated solely at the discretion of the Hon’ble Jury members.
